...is how a website looks and not how the site works.

Website design is a tricky thing because it is the art of creating what the client wants their website to look like with what websites need to look like for development purposes and which types to site the search engines like the best. See told you it was a tricky thing.

When creating the look of a website there are a few things to consider about your site
  • Branding your look. Use the same colors, logo, and feel as you do in your offline marketing

  • Ease of Navigation.Tthere are a few elements browsers on websites are use to doing-like finding navigation at the top or on the left hand side-changing these elements for look and feel will cause you to loose a potential customer.

  • Know your target customers. If you know most of your customer will be from a rual community, don't load site design down with moving pictures/test/or graphics. The more stuff on a site the longer it takes to load and you only have 30 seconds to keep your potiental client/customer

Listed below is a sampling of sites I have designed. Some of these sites are offline now but you will start to see the difference in design approaches and scope I have.(You can also see exampler of some of my design work here) As you look over these sites, begin to ask yourself, "What do I want my site to look like? Are their elements of these sites I would like to mix and match?"
